Coach Sparks brings nearly a decade of high school coaching experience at Lake Norman High School. Since 2017 Coach Sparks has been part of the staff for the baseball, basketball and football programs in different capacities. He grew up around sports, learning from and playing for his father, Don Sparks, who has coached football for 40 years.
With the Lake Norman High School football team, Coach Sparks has coached running backs and wide receivers out of multiple schemes.

Coach Sparks is a product of the Iredell County community where he resides with his family, his wife Charity and his two young daughters, Nora and Emerson.
