Massaponax High School, VA

Shane Ludden has served as the Head Football Coach since 2024 and has been coaching at Massaponax High School since 2013. A Massaponax alumnus (Class of 2008), Coach Ludden has a deep connection to the school and community. He is also a Ferrum College alumnus (Class of 2012), where he played football and later served as a student coach.

Coach Ludden is committed to developing disciplined, fundamentally sound student-athletes while emphasizing accountability and a team-first culture. He places a strong focus on academics and character development, helping players prepare for success beyond high school football.

Coach Ludden takes pride in mentoring athletes and assisting them through the recruiting process to find the best overall fit for their future.
