My name is Kevin Tucker and I have been coaching at Thomas Dale High School for 24 years. I was born and raised in the Chester Community, graduating as a 3rd generation Knight in 1998. My grandfather, Father, 2 uncles, brother and 9 cousins all played football for Thomas Dale. I gradated from Hampden-Sydeny College in 2002 as a four year letterman. I joined the coaching staff in 2002 and in 2010 I blessed with the opportunity to become the Head Coach. We have made the playoffs in 14 of my 16 years and have not missed the playoffs in 13 years. Over the last 16 years we have placed over 100 kids into college football programs, from Power 4 all the way down to D3.
I married to my high school sweetheart Ashley and we have 3 wounderful kids, Sydney, Berkley and Kevin. Sydney is a 4th generation Knight entering her Jr year and Cheering on her dad from the sidelines, while Berkley is enjoying 6th grade and is my toughest critic. My youngest Kevin follows my players and thinks he is one of the guys, often copping their moves from practice and using them during his games. In our free time we love spending time tarveling with our kids to the beach and taking them on cruises during spring break so they can experience the culture of the Caribbean.
