The NCAA has forced college quarterback Trevor Lawrence to shut down his GoFundMe page he created to help Coronavirus victims.

Lawrence and his girlfriend Marissa Mowry created a GoFundMe page to raise money to get meals for victims that are infected with the COVID-19 virus.

The couple was only able to raise $2,670 before the NCAA declared they broke rules by using Lawrence’s name and image.

“Unfortunately Trevor cannot be a part of this anymore due to compliance and some rules, so he can’t help out anymore,” Mowry said in a video posted to her Instagram page. “Despite all of the craziness and drama with that we were able to raise a little over $2,500. So all of that’s going to go to Meals on Wheels and No Kid Hungry, which is super awesome,” Lawrence said in the video.
